July 30,2024 – Today, the Orange Chamber of Commerce was proud to celebrate New England Spine and Disc (NESD) with a “15-year Milestone Ribbon Cutting.”
Located at 391 Boston Post Road, Orange, Dr Richard Carpenos opened NESD on July 10th, 2009, and has been treating patients throughout Connecticut for over three decades.
Joined by Barry Lee Cohen, Executive Director of the Orange Chamber of Commerce, Annemarie Sliby, Executive Director of the Orange Economic Development Corporation, Chamber members, and NESD staff, clients, and friends, the ribbon cutting included a tour and demo of the facility’s treatment rooms that employ breakthrough technology to relieve pain without dangerous drugs, risky surgery, or invasive epidural steroid injections.
State Representative Kathleen Kennedy (R-119) joined in the celebration and presented an Official Citation on behalf of the Orange State Delegation and the entire Connecticut State General Assembly extending the legislature’s best wishes for continued success.
Cohen said, “I first met Rich when we both served on the West Haven Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. At the time he operated the former Carpenos Chiropractic on Campbell Avenue and together we collaborated on the Savin Rock Festival. For well over 35 years, Rich has demonstrated a deep commitment to and care for his patients, the community, and other businesses throughout the area.”
“On behalf of the Orange Chamber, we are honored to have New England Spine and Disc as our newest Chamber member.”
