Connecticut Orthopaedics Ribbon Cutting Celebrates New Orange Facility

October 10th 2024

Orange, Connecticut, October 10, 2024 – Today, Connecticut Orthopaedics and the Orange Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of Connecticut Orthopaedics’ new, state-of-the-art healthcare facility with a ribbon cutting. The ribbon cutting marks the consolidation of two former Orange locations into a single center designed to enhance the continuum of care for the community.

Located at 235 Boston Post Road, Orange, Connecticut Orthopaedics healthcare professionals were joined by Chamber Executive Director, Barry Lee Cohen, Orange First Selectman James Zeoli, Economic Development Corporation Executive Director, Annemarie Sliby,  State Representative Kathleen Kennedy (R-119), as well as patients, Chamber members, and local businesses.

Connecticut Orthopaedics’ Dr. Patrick Ruwe, MD said, “We’ve been in Orange a long time. This is our third home on the Boston Post Road and our best home. Patients are excited. We’re excited. It’s a beautiful space that reflects Connecticut Orthopaedics’ role and desire to support Orange. We couldn’t be happier.”

Zeoli said, “I’m just thrilled. Anybody who remembers knows this was the site of a former trailer park home that sat (idle) for quite a long time. This is a beautiful addition to the Town of Orange and the Post Road. Many people have already commented on this stand-out facility.”

Both Zeoli and Ruwe credited Garry M. Richetelli, Garry J. Richetelli, and Michael Romano of the Commercial Development Company for bringing all parties together.

With over 20 locations across central and southern Connecticut, the consolidation supports Connecticut Orthopaedics’ commitment to delivering a seamless healthcare experience, allowing patients to access a wide range of services with ease. The new facility features extended hours, a patient-centric design, and dedicated care teams. Please visit ct-ortho.com for further information

Cohen said, “Connecticut Orthopaedics is a trusted and well-established healthcare brand that has been a valued partner to both patients and the business community. This new facility represents a significant investment in and commitment to the economic vitality of Orange and surrounding municipalities.”
