West Haven and Orange Women in business, provide education, networking, personal growth, mentoring and community service opportunities for women. This group meets for lunch, the third Tuesday of every month from 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at local restaurants. The WOW group holds an annual Leadership Conference breakfast in the Spring featuring successful women speakers. Proceeds go toward four scholarships for female high school seniors from Orange and West Haven.
This committee organizes and implement the Chamber’s signature event: The Cohen and Wolf Cinco K de Mayo Road Race. From soliciting sponsors, food and shirt vendors, facility reservations, race route to set up, registrations and cleanup of this fantastic event.
This committee is responsible for securing nominations for the Chamber’s annual recognition of individuals and businesses outstanding efforts in various categories. This committee plans and implements all aspects of the breakfast.
The annual picnic takes place in July at the High Plains Community Center Pavilion. It is a great business networking event in a totally relaxed atmosphere. New members are recognized, introduced and given an opportunity to speak about their business. The committee plans and implements this event.
