Homewood Suites Marks Five Years in Orange with Ribbon-Cutting, Chamber Cheer, and Charity

Orange, Connecticut, December 5,2024—The Homewood Suites by Hilton joined the Orange Chamber of Commerce in marking the hotel’s fifth anniversary since opening its doors to thousands of guests and countless functions at its 99 Marsh Hill Road, Orange location. The December 4th evening festivities featured a ceremonial milestone ribbon-cutting, a “Chamber Cheer Reception,” and the launch of a toy drive for the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.

Chamber members, local community leaders, Homewood Suites staff, and guests, joined Tom Falco, General Manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Orange/New Haven; Vinay Patel, Owner of SBM Hospitality and Jacqueline Coope, SBM Regional Director of Sales and Orange Chamber Board Member in the celebration that also included Barry Lee Cohen, Executive Director of the Orange Chamber of Commerce, Orange Selectman, Mitch Goldblatt, and Annemarie Sliby, Executive Director of the Orange Economic Development Corporation.

SBM Hospitality is the management group that operates the Homewood Suites Marsh Hill Road location.

Coope and Cohen collaborated on the ribbon-cutting with a free and open-to-the-public “Chamber Cheer Reception,” that offered catered foods and beverages provided by the Homewood Suites. A toy collection was also taken and will continue through Wednesday, December 11th.

In addition to the 99 Marsh HIll Road location, Orange Chamber member drop-off locations for toy donations include: Kashmire Salon, 221 Boston Post Road, and; Supercuts, 538 Boston Post Road, Orange.
